Introduction

Job description
This role reports to the Chief Finance Officer and the key components of what the role is required to accomplish are:
• To lead, direct, and coordinate the activities of the University’s budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, finance systems, asset management, student fees and student funding.
• To provide decision-support to the Chief Finance Officer, members of the Executive Management Committee, and senior managers on matters relating to university financial policy, strategy, planning and resource allocation/utilisation.
Minimum requirements
· Must be a qualified CA (SA).
· Minimum of 15 years’ experience working in a finance or auditing environment.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance Manager or Finance Director or similar role.
