- This position requires an academic willing to undertake further studies and research to contribute to the development of the Discipline.
- A successful candidate will also engage in curriculum development and assess undergraduate teaching practice.
Minimum requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: SENIOR LECTURER
- A Doctoral degree in Teacher Development Studies.
- A recognised qualification to teach in South African schools/higher education institutions.
- Evidence of academic leadership (e.g. Module co-ordination, supervision co-ordination, discipline leader)
- Evidence of successful grantpersonship.
- Teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- A growing record of research publications.
- Evidence of postgraduate supervision.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: LECTURER
- A Doctoral degree in Teacher Development Studies OR Master’s degree in Teacher Development Studies, with evidence of submission of PhD for examination
- A recognised qualification to teach in South African schools/higher education institutions.
- Evidence of academic leadership (e.g. Module co-ordination, supervision co-ordination, discipline leader)
- Teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate levels
- Evidence of postgraduate supervision.
