Senior Interviewer - Centre for Rural Health : 1 Year Contract

The project is looking to employ 2 senior interviewers, who will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to review translated interview materials, contribute to the design of fieldwork monitoring tools, trace, consent, and interview participants (telephonically and in-person); provide referrals to services where required and other data collection related activities.
This appointment is a hybrid position between the site office, based in Bothas Hill, KZN, UKZN Howard College, and work-from-home as determined by the needs of the project. The incumbent will need to travel between these sites as required by the project. The project work week runs from Tuesday to Saturday.
Minimum Requirements:
· Senior certificate
· 10 years of relevant experience in working within a research environment.
· Experience conducting psycho-social assessments/interviews with young people/adolescents and their families,
· Experiences in conducting door-to-door data collection activities
· Experience in using electronic data collection software such as RedCap, OpenClinica, Mobenzi or similar
· Fluency in Zulu and English
