Job description
- The incumbent will promote and facilitate the holistic development of students by optimizing student well-being and the learning environment through the provision of counselling and development services to students, thereby enhancing student retention and throughput
- The incumbent will conduct life skills workshops as well as psychological assessments and provide personal, academic and career counselling to students in the College
Minimum requirements
- Relevant Masters degree in Psychology (Counselling, Educational or Clinical)
- Current registration as an independent practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Minimum Two (2) years of relevant work experience (this may include the completed full time One (1) year Internship programme for Psychologists; and/or the completed full time One (1) year Community Service Programme for Clinical Psychologists)
- A valid Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliance certificate
