The successful individual will be responsible for the overall nursing management of clinical trial participants at the UKZN Clinical Trials Unit.  

Knowledge and Skills Required for the Post:

  • Experience with conducting physical exams and specimens collection
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
  • Fluency in English and isiZulu preferable

Personal qualities and competencies:

  • Attention to detail, with strong analytical ability
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  •  Ability to work independently, without direct supervision and fit in well within a multi- disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Midwifery
  • Current Registration with South African Nursing Council (as a Professional Nurse)
  • 3 years clinical trial experience
