The successful individual will be responsible for the overall nursing management of clinical trial participants at the UKZN Clinical Trials Unit.
Knowledge and Skills Required for the Post:
- Experience with conducting physical exams and specimens collection
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
- Fluency in English and isiZulu preferable
Personal qualities and competencies:
- Attention to detail, with strong analytical ability
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently, without direct supervision and fit in well within a multi- disciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Midwifery
- Current Registration with South African Nursing Council (as a Professional Nurse)
- 3 years clinical trial experience
