The School has an active Biology programme with a strong research profile, and vibrant postgraduate research programmes.
The incumbent will be expected to contribute to teaching and research in Biology and other related disciplines on the Westville campus, as well as contribute towards administration within the school. S/he will also be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum development, supervise postgraduate students and promote interdisciplinary research across the Schools in the College. A strong background in molecular biology and/or plant physiology is essential.
Minimum requirements
· A relevant PhD degree in Plant Molecular Biology OR a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline, with evidence of submission of PhD for examination.
