Job description
- The incumbent is responsible for fostering strong relationships between the university and its alumni.
- This role involves coordinating events, managing and updating the alumni database, ensuring the website content is current and curating content for social media platforms and newsletters.
Minimum requirements
- Relevant three-year (3) qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, marketing, and database management.
- Proven experience with data management systems and digital communication platforms with strong attention to detail.
- Proven experience in developing and curating digital content for social media and websites.
- Valid and unendorsed code 08 driver’s license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial administration and the university’s procurement and financial systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required for events.
- Experience in fundraising and donor engagement will be an advantage.
