The Graduate School of Business & Leadership has THREE vacant fixed-term contract positions at the Westville campus for ad-hoc lecturers to teach on the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration programme: Accounting for Managers S1 (Reference No: PGDBA-AFM), Business Research Methods S1 (Reference No: PGDBA-BRM), Principals of Business Leadership & Management S1 (Reference No: PGDBA-PBL)
Job description

  • The incumbent will report to the Head of Masters programmes, devolved to the Postgraduate Diploma in
    Business Administration coordinator

Minimum requirements

  • Doctorate degree in the respective discipline
  • Demonstrable ability to teach at a tertiary level
Advantages
  • Lecturing experience on postgraduate programmes
  • Relevant Industry experience
  • Supervision experience of Masters students
  • Demonstrable ability to facilitate blended teaching
 
The appointment of the selected candidates can only be finalized, once the following are received:
  • The verification of work permit, if the candidate is not a permanent RSAresident;
  • A completed Application for Private Work form with the appropriate recommendation from the Academic Leader or Line Manager and Dean (this is applicable to UKZN permanent staff only)
  • A copy of the candidate’s ID (for SA residents)
  • Certified copies of the candidate’s qualifications
