Job description

The School of Education is well established with a strong research profile and has a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate students.  The incumbent will teach modules in Education Leadership, Management and Policy. S/he will also be engaged with curriculum development, community engagement and supervision of students research and teaching practice. The incumbent will be expected to conduct research and contribute to publication profile of the Discipline.  

The successful candidates will be required to work across campuses whenever the need arises.

The incumbent will report to Academic Leader : Education and Development Studies.

Minimum requirements

  • A PhD degree in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy or related areas OR Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy or related areas, with evidence of submission of PhD for examination.   
  • Experience in teaching in a relevant field at tertiary institution   
  • Current research activity as evidence by a publication in a peer-reviewed journal, book chapter and/or conference proceedings
