The School of Education is well established with a strong research profile and has a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The incumbent will co-ordinate and lecture modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Accounting Education. She/he will also be engaged with curriculum development and delivery, teaching practice, as well as research and supervision in Accounting Education.
Minimum requirements
SENIOR LECTURER
- PhD degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- Three (3) years working experience in either Teaching, Lecturing, Research or Industry (in the relevant field or discipline).
- Evidence of current and sustained research publication record in quality scientific journals, appropriate for the level.
- A track record of successful supervision of postgraduate students at Masters and/or PhD level appropriate for the level.
- Demonstrated ability to apply for research grants, either as the Principal Investigator or as a member of a team.
LECTURER
- A PhD degree in Accounting OR Master’s degree in the relevant discipline, with evidence of submission of PhD for examination.
- Experience in teaching in a relevant field at tertiary institution.
- Current research activity as evidenced by a publication in a peer-reviewed journal, book chapter and/or conference proceedings
