Job description

The successful academic will be required to contribute actively to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning, research and community engagement and to do administration. 
 
They are also required to have:
  • appropriate clinical experience (experience with psychiatry/mental health assessment and rehabilitation); 
  •       Computer literacy in Microsoft office packages (especially Excel and PowerPoint);
  •       A valid code 08 driver’s license 

Minimum requirements

Minimum Requirements:

·     All applicants must have a Bachelors or Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy;

·     A Master’s degree qualification in the field of Occupational Therapy.

·     Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Occupational Therapist;

·     Appropriate clinical experience (experience with psychiatry/mental health assessment and rehabilitation);

·     Computer literacy in Microsoft office packages ( especially Excel and PowerPoint);

·     Valid code 08 driver’s license

Essential Requirements:

·         Be able to perform manual handling required during supervision of students for fieldwork blocks;
