Successful candidates will be employed by the University while they complete their post-graduate studies (PhD). The incumbent will report to the Dean and Head of School of Health Sciences.

Minimum Requirements
•All applicants must have an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy.
•A relevant master’s degree, with a pass mark of 70% or above.
•Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.
•Computer literacy.
 
Essential Requirements
•A master's degree in pharmaceutics.
•Laboratory-based research experience in Drug-Delivery Systems (DDS) at master's degree level.
 
The successful candidate will be expected to complete a PhD, pertaining to the development of novel drugs or DDS, within 5 years of the date of assumption of duty.
