Introduction
The School of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Sciences wishes to appoint an academic who will contribute actively to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning, research and community engagement.

Job description
- The main purpose of the of the role is to train and educate undergraduate and postgraduate students, and to build the knowledge base of the discipline through research and publication
Minimum requirements
- A PhD Degree in a relevant discipline
- Evidence of appropriate teaching experience in a relevant field at tertiary level
- Evidence of current and sustained research publication record in quality scientific journals, appropriate for the level
- A track record of successful supervision of postgraduate students at Masters and/or PhD level appropriate for the level
- Demonstrated ability to apply for research grants, either as the Principal Investigator or as a member of a team
- Appropriate clinical experience
- Computer literacy
- Valid driver' s licence
