Introduction
The Legal Services Section is within the Registrar Division, and it provides a service to the whole University, for both Professional Services and Academic Divisions/Schools.
Job description
The Legal Advisor will provide professional legal services to the university community which includes review, drafting, and vetting of contracts, managing of disputes ,providing general legal advice/ opinions on general legal queries including intellectual property law.
The incumbent will report to the Director of Legal Services.
Minimum requirements
• An admitted attorney (must hold a LLB Degree);
• 5 years of practical legal experience with a sound and wide knowledge of South African Law;
