Introduction
The School of Health Sciences wishes to appoint an Academic who will contribute actively to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning, research, and community engagement.
Job description
- Specialization in aural rehabilitation, cochlear implants, and AVT training would be an advantage
- Experience in student training and research supervision would be an advantage
- Candidates will also be required to do administration
Minimum requirements
- All applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology
- A Master’s degree qualification in the field of Audiology
- A PhD in the field of Audiology or equivalent
- Have a good publication record
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Audiologist
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Valid code 08 driver’s license
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an Audiologist
