- Assist with the conceptualisation and design of marketing and communication materials.
- Develop digital and print-ready artwork in line with the University's brand standards.
- Assist with social media graphics, campaign materials and promotional content.
- Support photography, videography and multimedia projects where required.
- Contribute to the preparation of event, publication and advertising materials.
- Assist with maintaining design archives and digital assets.
- Perform related duties as required by the Graphic Design Unit.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong visual communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Professionalism and commitment to quality service delivery.
Minimum requirements
- A National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Practical working knowledge of Mac-based design environments.
- A portfolio demonstrating graphic design, layout, branding and digital content development skills.
- Good communication, organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous internship or in-service training, freelance, voluntary or project-based graphic design experience.
- Experience producing content for digital and social media platforms.
- Basic photography, videography and motion graphics skills.
