Minimum requirements:
* Master’s degree in Psychology (Counselling, Clinical, Educational or Industrial) or Master’s degree in Social Work (with specialisation in Clinical Social Work)
* Current professional registration as an independent practitioner with the HPCSA or SACSSP.
* Two (2) years of post-registration, relevant experience as an independent practitioner.
* Knowledge of student learning, and development theories
* Must have the flexibility to offer the contracted hours of service in either the working day, afternoons, evenings or weekends.
* Services must be offered face to face at the respective DCTP site.
* Sessional Student Counsellors must have time available to offer services for a minimum of 15 hours per week
