- Contribute actively to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning, research and community engagement
- Candidates will also be required to do administration
Minimum requirements
- Applicants should have a PhD in Sports Science or in a related discipline
- Experience in teaching exercise science and leisure sciences modules at a postgraduate level for at least one year
- Minimum of five (5) publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision at Honours/Masters level
- Participation as a team member in a grant or submission of grant application
- A valid driver’s license
Minimum Requirement for Associate Professor
- A minimum of eighteen (18) publications in peer-reviewed journals
- A sustained track record of successful supervision of Masters/PhD students in the last five (5) years
- Evidence of curriculum development
- Evidence of sustained and successful attraction of research grants from external sources, participating in international research projects and collaborative initiatives
- Evidence of providing service in a leadership position/s (academic leader of discipline, programme coordinator/research unit)
