Job description

The College of Law and Management Studies seeks to appoint competent professionals to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Director: Professional Services and the Cross-Cutting Dean: Teaching and Learning.  The incumbents will provide comprehensive financial, human resources and committee administration support within the relevant offices. The roles require the ability to work independently, manage pressure effectively, and operate with minimal supervision, while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion.

Minimum requirements

  • Matric plus one-year relevant qualification
  • Three years of relevant secretarial/administrative experience
  • Proficiency in in word processing and spreadsheets
  • Minute taking and report writing experience
  • Financial administration experience

Short-listed candidates may be required to undergo a skills test.

Communication will be limited to shortlisted candidates.

The University subscribes to the Total Cost to Employer (TCE) Remuneration Model.

Appointment to this post will be made in accordance with the January 2018 Conditions of Service.
