Job description
This position is in the specialist area of Mass Transfer and Separation Processes, covering fundamental concepts, separations by phase, the use of membranes and mechanical separation techniques, amongst others. The incumbent will be required to teach undergraduate courses, develop independent research programmes, supervise research and undertake administrative duties.
The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader Discipline: Chemical Engineering.
Minimum requirements
- A PhD degree in an appropriate area OR Master’s degree in an appropriate area, with evidence of submission of PhD for examination.
- Evidence of appropriate teaching experience at tertiary level, related to the area of specialization.
- Evidence of presentations, at national or international conferences.
- Current research activity as evidence by a publication quality scientist journals.Candidates with Professional Registration with ECSA will be considered favourably.
